You will visit the villa’s garden where several iris plants are already present.
We will delve into the history of the iris, from its arrival in Europe from Asia to the present day. From the Greek goddess Iris to medical uses in ancient Rome. The relationship between the iris and the Florentine lily will be clarified, unveiling the origin of the symbol of the city of Florence.
